I am heading off to New Zealand for a few days, in what may be my last chess related overseas trip for some time. I am attending a meeting of the Oceania Chess Confederation, and will catch the last day of the New Zealand Open while I am there. It also gives me an opportunity to check out the New Zealand Chess Centre, which is hosting both the tournament, and the meeting.
I know reports on such meetings are terribly boring, so hopefully I will find some other chess related news to cover during my 4 days away.
